DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Insula Collective's Support Groups\, designed specif
 ically for the BIPOC community\, which includes Black\, Indigenous\, and P
 eople of Color. These groups honor the diverse ethnic backgrounds that enr
 ich our community and provide a safe\, intimate setting for connection and
  support. Each session lasts 1.5 hours and aims to foster an inclusive env
 ironment where individuals can share their experiences and uplift one anot
 her.\n\nThe group sessions begin with established guidelines to ensure a r
 espectful atmosphere. Each meeting starts with a check-in\, allowing parti
 cipants to express their current thoughts and emotions. The discussions ar
 e centered around a specific topic\, guided by thoughtful prompts or quest
 ions that encourage deeper exploration of shared experiences and feelings.
 \n\nAs the session progresses\, participants engage in a positive closing 
 that includes an affirmation\, emphasizing the strength found in collectiv
 e stories and challenges. The group also incorporates a poetry reading\, c
 elebrating the therapeutic benefits of artistic expression. To wrap up\, m
 embers commit to actionable steps\, empowering them to pursue personal gro
 wth and contribute to community support.\n\nPlease note that the donation 
 model has transitioned from a pay-what-you-can approach to a sliding scale
  system to ensure the sustainability and growth of the program. Starting A
 ugust 1st\, if a participant registers for a group but does not attend wit
 hout prior notice\, they will be charged based on the tier they selected\,
  and refunds will not be permitted. Donations support the venue\, Junior H
 igh\, as well as expenses and facilitator compensation. For more informati
