The Nova Healing Event is a profound experience held in conjunction with the Nova Exhibition, which solemnly commemorates the tragic massacre at the Nova Music Festival on October 7th. This exhibit honors the festival’s original purpose, a celebration of peace and love, which was brutally interrupted by a devastating terrorist attack—the largest massacre in music history.
This groundbreaking exhibition invites visitors to bear witness to the tragic events of that day and explore the emotional and psychological aftermath in a responsible and meaningful way. By reflecting on the chaos and loss, the exhibit serves not only as a memorial but also as a call to healing.
In collaboration with the exhibit, the Nova Healing Event, presented by Mental Health IsReal (MHI), offers an opportunity for visitors to integrate and regulate their nervous systems after experiencing the emotionally charged installation. This healing session is a safe space for those who may feel overwhelmed or vulnerable and seeks to provide tools for emotional resilience.
The Healing Experience:
- Gina Ross, a renowned trauma specialist, will guide participants through somatic healing techniques designed to regulate the nervous system, restore balance, and build resilience. Through a combination of sound, movement, and actionable techniques, attendees will gain practical skills that can be incorporated into daily life for ongoing healing.
- The event will close with a sacred sound journey led by devotional artist Mikey Pauker, offering a calming and spiritual conclusion to the session.
This event is especially beneficial for those who have wanted to visit the Nova Exhibition but were hesitant due to emotional concerns, as well as for those personally affected by the events of October 7th or the ongoing global tensions. Attendees will leave with practical tools to process their emotions and support their healing journey.
Visitor Information:
- Arrive early to allow time for parking and security checks. Using public transit or ride-sharing is encouraged.
About Mental Health IsReal (MHI): Mental Health IsReal is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded by Rona Lalezary, a life-transformative coach. MHI was launched in response to the increasing trauma, anxiety, and depression that has impacted Jewish communities, especially in the aftermath of October 7th. Following a successful launch event attended by over 700 community members, MHI aims to connect wellness practitioners, trauma trainers, individuals seeking healing, and community leaders across the Jewish diaspora.
MHI’s mission is to provide mental health resources to Jewish communities worldwide by creating a robust virtual platform that offers consistent, quality care. By bridging the gap in mental health services, MHI strives to meet the urgent demand for emotional and psychological support in Jewish communities.
This healing event at the Nova Exhibition stands as part of that commitment, helping those affected by trauma find strength, comfort, and hope in their healing journey.
