Nova Healing Event – Healing at the Nova Exhibition

This exhibit honors the festival’s original purpose, a celebration of peace and love, which was brutally interrupted by a devastating terrorist attack—the largest massacre in music history.
This groundbreaking exhibition invites visitors to bear witness to the tragic events of that day and explore the emotional and psychological aftermath in a responsible and meaningful way. By reflecting on the chaos and loss, the exhibit serves not only as a memorial but also as a call to healing.
In collaboration with the exhibit, the Nova Healing Event, presented by Mental Health IsReal (MHI), offers an opportunity for visitors to integrate and regulate their nervous systems after experiencing the emotionally charged installation. This healing session is a safe space for those who may feel overwhelmed or vulnerable and seeks to provide tools for emotional resilience.
The Healing Experience:
- Gina Ross, a renowned trauma specialist, will guide participants through somatic healing techniques designed to regulate the nervous system, restore balance, and build resilience. Through a combination of sound, movement, and actionable techniques, attendees will gain practical skills that can be incorporated into daily life for ongoing healing.
- The event will close with a sacred sound journey led by devotional artist Mikey Pauker, offering a calming and spiritual conclusion to the session.
This event is especially beneficial for those who have wanted to visit the Nova Exhibition but were hesitant due to emotional concerns, as well as for those personally affected by the events of October 7th or the ongoing global tensions.
