The recent LA fires have left many individuals feeling devastated, angry, and deeply saddened. The destruction has affected thousands—some have lost their homes and belongings, while others have witnessed friends and family members suffer immense loss. The emotional weight of such devastation can be overwhelming, leading to frustration, fear, and helplessness.

To support those struggling with these emotions, an interactive workshop titled “Triggered by the LA Fires” has been designed to guide participants in processing their feelings in a healthy and empowering way. This session provides an opportunity to move beyond victimhood and step into emotional resilience, personal strength, and proactive response.

Workshop Overview

In this transformative session, participants will be led through guided exercises that help them process their emotions constructively. Most individuals are not taught how to manage intense emotions in a productive way. Instead, many suppress their feelings—leading to long-term mental and physical distress—or externalize them through blame, anger, and disempowerment.

This workshop teaches strategies to:

  • Navigate emotions such as anxiety, anger, frustration, and fear in response to disasters like the LA fires.
  • Develop proactive rather than reactive emotional habits.
  • Shift from a state of helplessness to one of strength and personal power.
  • Implement a practical technique that transforms emotional triggers into personal growth and self-awareness.
