Global Solidarity Run 2025 – Los Angeles
The Global Solidarity Run is an initiative by Sanctuary Runners, an Irish Solidarity-Through-Sport movement, and supported by Irish Aid, the Ireland Funds and The European Commission that will see people around the world run, walk, jog, or roll to express solidarity with people living in extreme poverty.
On Saturday October 11th, join the Consulate General of Ireland, Los Angeles on a run/walk marking 51 years of Irish Aid.
Irish Aid is the Government of Ireland’s development cooperation programme, which works with partners around the world to tackle poverty, hunger and humanitarian need in over 130 countries.
We will begin our run at the Santa Monica Pier, and the Menotti’s Coffee Shop in Venice Beach will serve as our terminus! This is approximately 2.2 miles (3.5 kilometers). There is no set time in which you should complete this distance. There will be running, jogging, and walking groups, please go at whichever speed you are comfortable.
