In-person class: Intro to the Art of Sushi (Los Angeles)
Are you ready to dive into the world of sushi-making and create your own fresh rolls like a seasoned pro? Participants are in for an exciting experience!
In this engaging and hands-on class, Chef Cregg will share invaluable tips and techniques for crafting delicious sushi. From perfecting sushi rice to cutting fresh ingredients and mastering the art of rolling, this class is designed to engage all your senses. Participants will have the opportunity to make three distinct rolls: a Tuna roll, a vegetable-based roll such as the California Roll, and a “Chef’s Choice” roll that features fresh, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients. Guests are encouraged to unleash their creativity by experimenting with seaweed placement and mixing different ingredients to create unique sushi combinations.
All you need to bring is your curiosity and appetite! This class is perfect for various occasions, whether it’s a family activity, a team-building event, or a romantic date night. Guests aged 18 and older are welcome to join.
For those aged 14 to 17, a parent or guardian must accompany them during the class to ensure a safe and enriching experience.
Guest Information:
- BYOB: Feel free to bring your favorite beer, wine, or sake!
- Arrival: Your chef will greet you at the entrance to grant access at the start of the class. Please do not enter before the chef arrives, as latecomers will not be admitted. The door will close 5 minutes after the class begins.
- Parking: Street parking is free after 5:30 PM.
Participants will work collaboratively in groups, sharing both ingredients and equipment. The class can accommodate various dietary restrictions, including:
