Join John Gabaldon, an urban shaman, for an immersive sound bath experience at the iconic Shumei Center, a historic 1920s Hollywood estate once home to Joan Didion. As the full moon rises, John will guide participants through a sound healing session featuring a variety of instruments such as a crystal harp, crystal bowls, hand pan drum, Tibetan bowls, mouth harp, gong, and drums, creating a deeply meditative atmosphere. The session will include light breathwork and meditation to help attendees release stress and find inner peace.
Accompanying John, another talented sound healer will also perform with instruments like crystal bowls and an ocean drum, enhancing the experience.
This special event, held at the Shumei Center, located near Runyon Canyon, offers a unique opportunity to connect with the energy of the full moon and deepen your meditation practice.
What to Bring: A mat, blankets, pillow cover, and water for comfort during the session.
Parking: Limited parking is available on-site at the Shumei Estate, with additional street parking on Franklin Avenue between Vista and Camino Palmero, and along Camino Palmero and Hollywood Blvd. A short walk is required from these parking areas to the event location.
