The 2024 UCLA Health Heart & Stroke Walk is set to take place on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at the iconic Rose Bowl Stadium, located at 1001 Rose Bowl Drive, Pasadena, CA 91103. This inspiring event aims to raise awareness and funds for heart and stroke research and will bring together community members dedicated to promoting heart health.

The day’s festivities kick off at 8:00 AM with the opening of the festival area, where participants can enjoy various activities and resources. The official walk will begin at 9:15 AM, allowing walkers to engage in physical activity while supporting a worthy cause. After the walk, attendees are invited to join the UCLA Health Team tailgate, which opens at 10:30 AM, for food, camaraderie, and celebration.

To make participation easier, UCLA Health will provide two shuttle services to the Rose Bowl from its Santa Monica campus, located at 1250 16th St., Santa Monica, CA 90404. Free parking is available for confirmed riders and carpoolers at the Arizona Parking Structure, situated at 1311 16th St. in Santa Monica. Shuttles will board at the intersection of Arizona Ave. and 16th St. and will depart promptly at 7:00 AM. Participants are advised to arrive no later than 6:45 AM to secure their spots on the shuttle.

After the walk concludes around 10:30 AM, one shuttle will return to the Santa Monica campus, while another will depart following the UCLA Health BBQ, approximately between 12:00 PM and 12:30 PM.
