Guided by Kendra Adler, this class offers a unique opportunity to engage with your body through experiential anatomy, authentic movement, and elemental meditations. Participants will connect with their bodies’ sensory experience, exploring movement as a tool for self-awareness and resilience.
This class is designed for those curious about somatics, offering a space for beginners and experienced practitioners alike. It’s not just about movement; it’s about engaging in a contemplative and playful inquiry into the body’s wisdom. Through this practice, participants can learn to build resilience, foster self-care, and explore the subtleties of their own body’s systems.
The session will feature a combination of somatic body-based inquiries and mindfulness practices, with a focus on being with one’s own experience, rather than doing. Kendra’s approach incorporates elements from her nature-centric somatic practice, Word As Movement, fostering a connection between inner and outer worlds. Participants can expect to leave feeling more grounded, connected, and present.
This class is suitable for anyone who needs a break from their busy life, especially those who are looking for a non-traditional yoga or meditation class. It’s a perfect opportunity for freelancers, busy professionals, or anyone looking for a moment of reflection and rejuvenation.
