The Pink Ribbon United Foundation invites the community to its 3rd Annual Breast Cancer Community Health Fair, an event dedicated to raising awareness and providing essential health services to uninsured women and those at risk of breast cancer.

In the United States, approximately 49% of women remain uninsured, placing them at a higher risk of developing breast cancer without timely access to screenings and treatments. The Pink Ribbon United Foundation is committed to bridging this gap by offering free pop-up events, collaborations with healthcare providers, and quarterly gatherings that create a supportive environment for breast cancer survivors, patients, and women at risk.

Regular health screenings are crucial for the early detection of diseases, significantly improving treatment outcomes. Breast cancer, in particular, is far more treatable when caught in its early stages. Unfortunately, many underserved communities, especially those of color, face higher risks and healthcare barriers, leading to delayed diagnoses and limited treatment options. This health fair aims to combat these challenges by providing free screenings and resources to those who need them most.

What to Expect:

  • Free Mammograms: Available to women aged 40 and above who haven’t had a screening in the last year.
  • Educational Resources: Learn about breast cancer prevention, the importance of early detection, and how regular screenings can save lives.
  • Health Consultations: Speak with on-site healthcare professionals who will review your results and provide personalized guidance.
  • Food and Entertainment: Enjoy meals from local vendors and fun activities suitable for all ages.
  • Support Services: Connect with local organizations offering support groups, patient care resources, and information about ongoing breast cancer awareness efforts.

Who Should Attend:

  • Women aged 40+ who have not had a mammogram in the past year.
  • Individuals and families interested in learning more about breast cancer, health, and wellness.
  • Community members who want to support efforts to increase breast cancer awareness and prevention.
