Join our daily indoor sessions for a transformative practice of Yoga Asana (postures), Pranayama (breathwork), and Dhyana (meditation). With four classes held each day, this experience also includes a Q&A session after class on Ayurveda, Yoga, and Vedic Sciences to answer your health and wellness questions.
Led by Dr. Ashwin Kumar, an experienced Doctor of Ayurveda, Yoga, and Vedic Sciences, each class is designed to help participants reconnect with their true self, find their life purpose, and restore balance in their body and mind. All levels are welcome, and every session is tailored to be accessible for beginners while also beneficial for seasoned practitioners. Dr. Kumar provides practical insights into the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda, offering tips for rebalancing health and enhancing overall well-being.
Yoga Class Structure
The morning yoga practice consists of 40 minutes of postures (Asana) aimed at healing the body and mind, improving muscle tone, and increasing flexibility. These postures also activate marmani (similar to acupressure points), helping to bring both body and mind into balance. The class also includes 5 minutes of pranayama (breath control) to boost oxygenation and lifeforce energy (prāṇa) throughout the body. To conclude, the session offers 45 minutes of meditation, allowing participants to enter a state of stillness and self-awareness.
Benefits of Participation
By attending these Vedic Yoga and Meditation classes, you’ll rediscover your true self, gain clarity, and experience enhanced energy, endurance, and emotional balance. Additionally, the practice helps build strength and flexibility, creating a sense of harmony that stays with you throughout the day.
On Saturdays at 8 AM, a special community class follows the morning yoga session, focusing on Ayurveda and Vedic Sciences. During this time, Dr. Kumar answers questions related to health, wellness, and Ayurvedic practices, offering practical guidance for everyday life.
