Beyond Fest, recognized as the most-attended genre film festival in the United States, is set to make its triumphant return for its 12th edition. This year, the festival will span an exhilarating 15 days, featuring a diverse lineup of 83 films that promise a feast for cinema lovers. Among the impressive array of offerings are 13 World Premieres, 4 International Premieres, 4 U.S. Premieres, and 25 West Coast Premieres. Attendees can look forward to engaging with over 100 in-person guests, who will participate in celebrations, tributes, and retrospectives that highlight the rich history of genre filmmaking.
Throughout the festival, audiences will have the opportunity to attend numerous Q&A sessions featuring renowned filmmakers and actors. Notable attendees include legendary actor Al Pacino, who will discuss his iconic role in Scarface; Shane Black, presenting a marathon of four of his films; and acclaimed director Sam Raimi, who will host a triple feature of his celebrated works. Fans of indie cinema will be delighted by Bob Odenkirk, who will talk about his film Melvin Goes to Dinner. The festival will also showcase the talents of Ron Perlman with a screening of Hellboy, Kyle MacLachlan discussing classics like Dune and Blue Velvet, and Don Johnson reflecting on A Boy and His Dog and The Hot Spot.
